    A.        AGRICULTURAL RESOURCE MANAGEMENT DIVISION

                          1.      Request for Approval to Construct a Commercial Kitchen
                                   with Restroom and Storeroom, Eleven Shadehouses,
                                   a Pump House and a Septic System, General Lease No.
                                   S-7012  Hamakua Agricultural Park, Lot 11, Phase II,
                                   Island of Hawaii

                                 Action:  Approved

                                Disposition:  Lessee has been notified of Board approval on                                            April 26, 2006 of construction subject to several
                                           conditions.

                          2.   Update on Chapter 166E, HRS

         Non-Agricultural Park Lands

   B.          ANIMAL INDUSTRY DIVISION

              1.    Request for Approval to:  (1) Permit Private Veterinary
                     Contractors to Receive, Inspect, Process and Release
                     Qualified Dogs and Cats; and (2) Delegate the Authority to
                     Approve the Contractor to the Chairperson"  

         Action:  Approved

        Disposition:  The division has located and is currently
                      working with two veterinarians that have
                      expressed interest in the program.

C.  QUALITY ASSURANCE DIVISION

    1.   Request for (1) Preliminary Approval of Proposed
          Amendments to Section 4-60-9, Hawaii Administrative
          Rules, entitled "Minimum prices in the Honolulu milk
          shed," Pertaining to Increasing the Minimum Price to
          Milk Producers in the Honolulu Milk Shed, and (2)
          Authorization for the Chairperson to Schedule a Public
          Hearing and to Appoint a Hearing Officer in Connection
          with (1).

                    Action:  Approved

                    Disposition:  Awaiting approval from the Governor for
                                           approval to go to public hearing. 

 D.            AQUACULTURE DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

    1.  Request for Approval to Adopt Proposed Rules presented at Public Hearings to Chapter 4-11, Hawaii Administrative Rules, entitled “Aquaculture Development Special Fund.”

                    Action:  Approved

                    Disposition:  Final rules are being prepared for Governor’s
                                          approval.

 E.              PLANT INDUSTRY DIVISION

                   Microorganisms      

1.   Request to: (1) Allow the Importation of Various Fungi on the List of Restricted Microorganisms (Part A), for Laboratory Diagnostics by Clinical  Laboratories of Hawaii at St. Francis West; and (2) Establish Permit Conditions for the Importation of Various Fungi on the List of Restricted Microorganisms (Part A), for Laboratory Diagnostics by Clinical Laboratories of Hawaii at St. Francis West

                               Action:  Approved

      Disposition:  Permit No. 06-12-O-M1027 issued on 4/25/06
                      to Clinical Laboratories of Hawaii at St. Francis
                     West, with conditions.

       2.   Request to: (1) Allow the Importation of a  
             Fungus, Mucor sp.,  on the List of Restricted
             Microorganisms (Part A), for Laboratory
             Diagnostics by Kaiser Permanente Medical
             Center; and (2) Establish Permit Conditions for
             the Importation of a Fungus, Mucor sp., on the
             List of Restricted Microorganisms (Part A), for
             Laboratory Diagnostics by Kaiser Permanente
             Medical Center

                                Action:  Approved

            Disposition:  Permit No. 06-12-O-M992 dated 12/30/05 was
                        amended and issued on 4/25/06 to Kaiser
                        Permanente Medical Center, with conditions.

        3.  Request to:  (1) Allow the Importation of Various
             Species of a Fungus, Phytophthora, on the List
             of Restricted Microorganisms (Part A), for
             Laboratory Studies; and (2) Establish Permit
             Conditions for the Importation of Various
             Species of a Fungus, Phytophthora, on the List
             of Restricted Microorganisms Part A, for
             Laboratory Studies

                                Action:  Approved

                                Disposition:  Permit pending site approval.

                              Plants
                         4.  Request to Waive the One-Year Quarantine for Import of
                              Sugarcane Meristem Sections

                  Action:  Approved

      Disposition:  Permit No. 07-05-O-P337 issued on 5/2/06 to
                      Hawaii Agricultural Research Center/Susan
                      Schenck, with conditions.

            5.  Request to Waive the One-Year Quarantine for Import of
                 Sugarcane in Sterile Tissue Culture

                 Action:  Approved

                 Disposition:  Permit pending request from applicant.
