PLANT QUARANTINE
Educational Tours

Educational tours are available at the Hawaii Department of Agriculture's Plant Quarantine Station, located in Honolulu at 1849 Auiki Street. The tour consists of a slide overview of the Plant Quarantine Program and a "show and tell" presentation on some of the illegal animals we've come across. Live and preserved specimens are shown during this part of the tour. The theme focuses on the need to protect Hawaii and information is given on what is allowed and what is prohibited in the State.

The tours are conducted by the staff during regular business hours by appointment only. Priority is given to classes or groups emphasizing related topics to Plant Quarantine or environmental issues. Morning appointments are preferred. Please call (808) 832-0566 for more information.
