AGRICULTURAL PARKS PROGRAM
Determination of agricultural park lease rentals

For State-owned land, set aside by Executive Order, the basic lease rent is determined by appraisal conducted for the department by an independent appraiser. There is also a provision for additional rent based on a percentage of gross proceeds (which the lessee pays to the extent that it exceeds the basic rent).

For private lands master-leased by the State, lease rent depends on the underlying rent paid by the State to the private landowner, together with infrastructure maintenance costs.
